i kept painting and painting and painting and i think i need to let this go!! i’m tired! but i’m proud that i finished it, since it was very good practise. anyway i love diamond days so far, i’m finally seeing some escalation of steven’s series-long quest to find himself in the swamp of emotional baggage his mother (inadvertently or not) left him, and i hope that leads to something really good for steven. maybe it’s time for the people he helped to share the emotional brunt of whatever this arc has in store for steven.
